If you’ve taken a biochemistry class, you may get that our name is derived from the Ligand/Receptor interaction at the cellular level. It’s essentially the human body’s idea of a “lock and key” mechanism. There are thousands of these complex “lock and key” mechanisms in the body. The Ligand is an ion or molecule that binds to the Receptor to trigger a specific reaction. This Ligand/Receptor interaction causes cell mechanisms to turn on/off and aid in the homeostasis and function of a cell. Since our compounds work at this cellular “lock and key” level, we felt “Lig & Ceptor” was an appropriate name.

Our founders are physicians. Together we have over 60 combined years of experience practicing on the front lines of medicine. Our formulas are the result of our backgrounds in Biochemistry, Integrative Medicine, Internal and Emergency Medicine, Ayurvedic, Chinese Medicine, and varied Alternative Medicine disciplines. We understand the research that’s been done on these ingredients and compounds, we have a deep understanding of the biochemistry of our products, and we’ve seen firsthand the difference our products can make since we actively use these formulas in our own medical practices.

We have customers that take one or more of the Lig & Ceptor formulas for all different types of health issues, and most of them experience great success. However, please understand that we can make no claim as to how the Lig & Ceptor formulas will benefit you; every person is different and may experience different results. Our goal as a team was to create a remedy or solution for patients wanting relief from things like insomnia, fatigue, pain, anxiety, and the risk of viral infections. We cannot comment on what any one person’s experience will be, other than to share with you the research behind our formulations and the genuine customer testimonials that are posted on this website.

Lig and Ceptor formulas are supplements, not drugs, and have no known major side effects. However, any supplement or food consumed can produce certain minor side effects for some people. These can include headaches, nausea, allergic reactions, etc. Of course, if a side effect does occur, simply stop taking the particular product and the side effect should subside. We do suggest that you review the list of ingredients on the bottle to make sure that you have no corresponding allergies or pre-existing conditions that would inhibit you from taking certain supplements. Also, consult your doctor before starting a nutraceutical regimen.

Lig and Ceptor formulas are produced and bottled in the USA, in an FDA Registered and GMP-NSF/NNFA certified pharmaceutical laboratory.

By law, the FDA is not required to approve dietary supplements. However, Lig & Ceptor formulations are manufactured in an FDA approved facility and is in accordance with the FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) which validates the identity, strength, quality, and purity for all of your formulas.

Lig & Ceptor capsules are made from Hypromellose which is naturally derived from vegetable cellulose and contains no gelatin or animal byproducts.

All of our formulas use a size 0 vegan capsule in order to maximize the amount of ingredients per capsule.

It is okay to miss a day or two, but keep in mind that certain ingredients have a cumulative effect and are more effective over time. Consistency at the recommended dose and time will result in the maximum positive benefit.

We receive a CoA (Certificate of Analysis) for each batch of supplements produced by the manufacturer.
